“’History is written by the victors’, but not this book. Cook provides a comprehensive, meticulously detailed and accurate account of the events and forces that shaped the US from its creation, through its rise and current decline.” DR. FADI LAMA, International Adviser for the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

“If you want a look towards true hope for the future centered on solutions while also acknowledging the darkness and traps facing us in these precarious times, then read Our Country, Then and Now.” MATTHEW EHRET, Editor-in-Chief Canadian Patriot Review, author of The Clash of the Two Americas

Our Country, Then and Now is the perfect companion to Howard Zinn’s  A People’s History of the United StatesJOHN RACHEL, peace activist and author of The US and Perpetual War and The Peace Dividend: The Most Controversial Proposal in the History of the World.

“Richard Cook’s Our Country, Then and Now  is a well-informed, balanced and affectionate yet brutally honest history of the United States. Unlike other alt-history books including Howard Zinn’s  A People’s History of the United States and James Loewen’s  Lies My Teacher Told Me , Cook’s squarely faces the unpleasant and taboo fact that a usurious international banking cabal has brought our Republic to its knees.” KEVIN BARRETT, Senior Editor, Veterans Today
